FNC/SNI Response to SNGREC Partnership with Xplornet Communications Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc.
What's going on?
In letter dated January 22, 2021, it was shared that SNGREC intends to pursue a partnership with Xplornet Communications Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc. to build out fiber optic networks and 5G wireless in the Six Nations of the Grand River.
First Nations Cable then issued a notice to SNGREC in response, to reiterate our status as a licensed operator in this area. You can see that here: First Nations Cable CRTC License
In the March 31, 2021 issue of Turtle Island News, Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Band Council announced their intent to support a fiber and wireless broadband project in partnership with Xplornet Communications Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc.

You can see the official response to all parties involved by Jeffery Thomas, President of First Nations Cable and Six Nations Internet, here: Notice Letter
Copies of the letter have been forwarded from our lawyer to Xplornet and Rogers
